This dataset represents all active warrants recorded by the Norfolk Police Department. This dataset enables citizens to search crimes by type, demographics of persons involved and total number of outstanding warrants
The Address Information Resource is a compilation of information related to active and pending addresses in the City of Norfolk. It provides a consolidated source to allow for quick and easy access to information about an address including details related to school districts, municipal services, planning, public safety, and civic leadership. It is one of the main data resources that provides content for the Norfolk AIR website (http://norfolkair.norfolk.gov/norfolkair).
The Eco-Counters Multi System has been installed at specific locations along the Elizabeth River Trail and elsewhere on Norfolk’s bike network to accurately count pedestrian and cyclist use along the trail and bike network. The system allows for the analysis of data from multiple user types over time. This system combines the passive infrared sensor and an inductive loop sensor. An intelligent subsystem analyzes the signal from both sensors in order to count and classify each user.
* Bike Loop Sensors for Larchmont and Plum Point Park locations are yet to be installed and that trip count will be included once permanent installation has occured.
