CrimeMapping.com allows citizens to query and map recent crimes and incidents within the City’s borders. Crime data is extracted on a regular basis from each department's records system so that the information being viewed through a Web browser is the most current available.
This dataset contains incident reports recorded by Norfolk Police Department that occurred over the last five years. This dataset enables citizens to search incidents by type, location, date and time of occurrence.
The International Coastal Cleanup, designed by Ocean Conservancy, is an international initiative which takes place September 1st through October 31st encouraging the removal of trash from our beaches and waterways around the world. This cleanup is fueled by volunteer organizations and individuals to change behavior toward cleaner, healthier waterways. Each piece of debris collected from the cleanup site is identified and tracked to provide a cumulative understanding of the marine debris in our waterway.
Provides data regarding the Bureau of Parks & Urban Forestry’s Mowing Schedule. All scheduled dates are subject to change based on weather. The schedule is updated each season (Spring, Summer, and Fall) and includes medians, parks, schools, vacant lots, and various other City properties maintained by Parks & Urban Forestry’s Landscape Services Division.
This dataset contains the number of citations issued over a selected three-year period. The data is from reports provided by the Division of Parking’s T2 Flex operating system.
This dataset will provide the following information per citation:
o The time and date of which the citation was issued
o The violation type and code associated to the issued citation
o The location where the citation was issued
o The state in which the vehicle is registered
o The license plate numbers of the vehicle to which a citation has been issued
o The make, model, and color of the vehicle to which a citation has been issued
o The fine amount of the citation issued
This dataset will provide the number of parking permits by type and duration sold in the City parking system. Types include: Business, Resident (downtown), Residential Permits, City Department, and Top Deck. Data will be pulled from reports provided by the Division of Parking’s T2 Flex operating system. The dataset will provide the public with information about how many permits are sold in the City’s parking system.
