The Public Arts Commission together with city staff, developed policies for the development of artwork that creates a unique image and sense of place for Norfolk. This dataset is a compiled list of existing public art recorded by Norfolk
This dataset provides data from MyNorfolk, a citizen services portal that delegates and tracks requests and questions about the city of Norfolk and the services we provide to our residents, businesses, and visitors. Data for the service requests is collected from phone calls, emails, an app for smart phones and on-line. The portal is managed by the Norfolk Cares Center; its mission is to provide a single point of contact for visitors, residents, businesses and city staff to request a city service, report a concern, seek information about Norfolk, or follow-up on a previous request for service.

Pace Bike share launched in March 2018 in Norfolk, VA. A system of 250 smart bikes available for the Norfolk bike share program. The Pace program is a 3rd party application that allows riders to reserve and use a bicycle in Norfolk at a low cost. This dataset is a record of all Trip Path Data in the 2018 Pace Bike season for the City of Norfolk.
The information contained on City of Norfolk’s Open Data portal for Zagster Pace Bike Dataset consists of all of the data provided to the City by Zagster. The City makes no representation or warranty as to the completeness or accuracy of the data.
Norfolk’s Pace Bike Share program launched in April 2018. Pace is a vendor that provided 250 share bikes in Norfolk for public use. The Pace program is a third-party application that allows riders to reserve and use a bicycle in Norfolk at a low cost. This dataset is a record of trips taken in 2018. Trip data is tracked by user’s cell phones, not by a device on the bicycle, which may result in anomalies in the data.

This dataset includes trip path data collected in 2018 only. The Pace Bike program was halted in Norfolk in early 2020 and the city was unable to obtain the 2019 data from the vendor.
This dataset provides information about parking citations in the city of Norfolk.
Data provided about the citations includes: time and date issued, violation type and code, location, state of vehicle registration, license plate numbers, make, model, and color of the vehicle, amount of parking citation fine.
This dataset covers a period of three years and is updated weekly.
This dataset provides the number of parking permits by type and duration sold in the City parking system. Types include: Business, Resident (downtown), Residential Permits, City Department, and Top Deck. This data is updated weekly.
