This dataset contains information regarding Dominion Energy owned (city leased) streetlights that are designated for upgrades to LED bulbs, to improve dependability, light emission, reduce energy consumption, and improve nighttime public safety. The prioritization of the upgrades was determined using public safety information including calls for service and traffic accidents, as well as vehicular and pedestrian traffic levels.

Information regarding Dominion Energy owned (city leased) streetlight locations and types within the city of Norfolk and monthly reporting of streetlight outages throughout the city. The data is collected, updated, and maintained by Dominion Energy. The outages reported are those that have been reported by residents.
