Pace Bike share launched in March 2018 in Norfolk, VA. A system of 250 smart bikes available for the Norfolk bike share program. The Pace program is a 3rd party application that allows riders to reserve and use a bicycle in Norfolk at a low cost. This dataset is a record of all Trip Path Data in the 2018 Pace Bike season for the City of Norfolk.

The Pace program is a third-party application that allows riders to reserve and use a bicycle in Norfolk at a low cost. This dataset is a record of trips taken in 2018. Trip data is tracked by user’s cell phones, not by a device on the bicycle, which may result in anomalies in the data.

This dataset includes trip path data collected in 2018 only. The Pace Bike program was halted in Norfolk in early 2020 and the city was unable to obtain the 2019 data from the vendor.
